There are two options to start writing your children's book. The first is the AI Story Generator, and the second is Blank Page. Blank Page means starting your book from scratch, so literally you will be taken to a blank page. No matter the path you choose, you will always have access to the AI Image Generator and AI Writing Assistant tools located in the right sidebar of your book to use when needed.
Using the AI Story Generator
With the AI Story Generator, however, you will also have access to AI to generate book ideas and create your first draft to help you get started. It's a two-step process. The first step is optional and involves generating book ideas if needed.
The second step is required and involves providing your book idea and clicking the "Create Draft Story" button. If you intend for this to be a chapter book, then check the "Chapter Book" checkbox. This will provide you with a draft of the first chapter of your book.
It will take a few seconds as the AI creates the first draft of your story, but you should be redirected to your book where you can continue working on it by revising and writing new pages, and adding images if desired. You will be able to use the AI tools in the right sidebar to help with all of these tasks.
How to Edit and Revise the Pages of your Book?
Once you have your draft story, each page will look like the image below.
The Edit button allows you to edit the text and an image field will appear, allowing you to add an image to the page.
The three vertical dots, will allow you to Remove or Duplicate a page.
The number 6 means that this is page 6 of the book. You can rearrange pages by changing that number or by clicking on the anchor on the left side of the page to drag-and-drop the page.
